The HW363612S16HK is a square-format 316 stainless steel wallmount enclosure, 36 in high by 36 in wide by 12 in deep (914 x 914 x 305 mm). The equal height and width give a large 33.20 x 33.20 in door opening (per drawing) for control and electronic equipment that must be protected in harsh industrial environments, hose-down areas and wet locations where corrosion is a serious problem.
Built from formed stainless steel, it has continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket. Cover and body share a natural stainless, smooth brushed finish. The door is hung on a stainless steel continuous hinge that can be separated by pulling the hinge pin, and it is secured by a 316 stainless pad lockable handle with a 3 point roller latching system.
The drawing shows 0.44 in mounting holes on a 30.00 x 37.25 in pattern and an overall depth of 13.23 in. Inside, collar studs accept the optional 18P3333 inner panel, which measures 33.00 x 33.00 in. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the body are supplied.
Ratings: UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (file E65324), CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 (LR21001), compliance with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. The HW363612S16HK is REACH and RoHS compliant and has a shipping weight of 130 lbs (58.97 kg).
