Need depth in a corrosion-resistant wall enclosure? The HW363016SSHK is a 304 stainless steel Type 4X enclosure measuring 36 x 30 x 16 in (914 x 762 x 406 mm). It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment in harsh industrial environments and to give a high level of protection where equipment is hosed down or exposed to wet, corrosive conditions.
The HW363016SSHK is formed from 14 gauge stainless with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural, smooth brushed finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the hinged door. The door is carried on a stainless steel continuous hinge, removable by pulling the hinge pin, and closes with a 316 stainless pad lockable handle and 3 point roller latching system.
Per the part drawing, the door opening is 27.20 x 33.20 in, overall depth is 17.21 in, and 0.44 in mounting holes are spaced 24.00 x 37.25 in. Collar studs accept the optional 18P3327 inner panel (33.00 x 27.00 in). A bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure are included.
It is UL 508A and CSA listed Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 126 lbs (57.15 kg). The 316 stainless alternative is HW363016S16HK.
