Hammond HW36308S16HK 36x30x8 In 316 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

For panel builders and facilities teams who need to house electrical or electronic equipment on a wall in a corrosive or washdown area, the HW36308S16HK provides a 36 x 30 x 8 in (914 mm x 762 mm x 203 mm) Type 4X stainless steel enclosure with a hinged door and handle.

This is the 316 stainless steel version, formed from 14 gauge 316 stainless steel; the equivalent 304 stainless steel model is HW36308SSHK. Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The door closes on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and is secured by a 316 stainless pad lockable handle with a 3 point roller latching system. The stainless steel continuous hinge can be removed by pulling the stainless steel hinge pin. The cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

According to the part drawing, the door opening is 27.21 in wide x 33.21 in high, the door itself measures 28.19 in x 34.21 in, and the overall height is 38.25 in with an overall depth of 9.21 in. Collar studs are provided for mounting an inner panel; the optional inner panel for this size is 18P3327, measuring 33.00 in H x 27.00 in W. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure. Shipping weight is 98 lbs (44.45 kg).
