The HW363016S16HK is the 16 in deep, 316 stainless steel member of the hinged-door HWSSHK wallmount family. At 36 x 30 x 16 in (914 x 762 x 406 mm), it gives extra depth for equipment that needs it, while protecting electrical and electronic gear against harsh industrial conditions, hose-down cleaning and corrosive, wet environments.
It is fabricated from formed stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip on the enclosure keeps flowing liquids and contaminants away from the door seal, which is a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door swings on a stainless steel continuous hinge and is removable by pulling the hinge pin; a 316 stainless pad lockable handle drives a 3 point roller latching system. The finish is natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed surface.
According to the drawing, the door opening is 27.20 x 33.20 in and the overall depth is 17.21 in. Wall mounting uses 0.44 in holes on a 24.00 x 37.25 in pattern. The optional 18P3327 inner panel (33.00 x 27.00 in) mounts on the collar studs, and bonding and grounding studs are provided.
The enclosure carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
