The HW363010SSHK is a Type 4X wallmount enclosure measuring 36 in high, 30 in wide and 10 in deep (914 x 762 x 254 mm), built from 304 stainless steel. It is designed to house electrical and electronic equipment on a wall in harsh industrial settings, and suits processing plants, utilities, outdoor municipal sites and petrochemical locations where equipment may be hosed down or exposed to wet, corrosive conditions.
Construction is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural, smooth brushed finish on both cover and body. A formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Access is through a hinged door on a stainless steel continuous hinge; pulling the hinge pin lets you remove the door. The door is secured by a 316 stainless pad lockable handle driving a 3 point roller latching system.
The drawing shows a door opening of 27.21 x 33.21 in, 0.44 in mounting holes on a 24.00 x 37.25 in pattern, and an overall depth of 11.21 in. Collar studs accept the optional 18P3327 inner panel (33.00 x 27.00 in), and a bonding stud on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure simplify grounding.
The HW363010SSHK is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships in a box at 102 lbs (46.27 kg). A 316 stainless version is available as HW363010S16HK.
