The HW423010S16HK is a tall, shallow 316 stainless steel enclosure at 42 x 30 x 10 in (1,067 x 762 x 254 mm). It is designed to house electrical and electronic equipment on a wall where conditions are harsh: hose-down washing, wet environments and serious corrosion risk, as found in processing plants, utilities, outdoor municipal installations and petrochemical facilities.
Formed stainless steel walls are joined by continuously welded seams ground smooth, and the natural stainless surface has a smooth brushed finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and the door closes against a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door hangs on a stainless steel continuous hinge and is removable by pulling the hinge pin. It is secured with a 316 stainless pad lockable handle and 3 point roller latching system.
The drawing gives a door opening of 27.21 x 39.21 in, an overall depth of 11.23 in and 0.44 in mounting holes on a 24.00 x 43.25 in pattern. Collar studs accept the optional 18P3927 inner panel (39.00 x 27.00 in). A bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud in the body.
The HW423010S16HK is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 148 lbs (67.13 kg).
