Hammond FT300TA1220BK 1U 300 CFM 220 VAC Fan Tray Without Switch

The FT300TA1220BK is a 1U rack mount fan tray from the FT Series, built to deliver targeted cooling for rack-mounted equipment in networking, telecommunications, industrial automation, AV and server applications. It carries three thermally protected ball-bearing fans for 300 CFM of free flow air delivery and operates on 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz. This is the version without an on/off switch, making it suited to permanent, always-on installations.

Unlike cabinet-mounted fan kits, the FT Series installs directly into the rack so airflow can be positioned exactly where it is needed. Mount the tray at the bottom of the rack as an intake, at the top as an exhaust, or directly beneath heat-producing equipment for spot cooling. Integrated finger guards above and below the fans improve safety while maintaining unrestricted airflow, and a resettable circuit breaker helps safeguard the tray during operation.

Construction is heavy-duty mild steel finished in black textured powder paint. The tray occupies a single rack unit at 44.45 mm (1.750 in) high and measures 482.60 mm (19.000 in) wide, with a case depth of 7.50 in (191 mm) and an overall assembly depth of 193.42 mm (7.615 in). Shipping weight is 10 lbs (4.54 kg). Running current is 0.26 A with running wattage of 40 W, and measured noise is 63 dB.

As a 220 VAC model, FT300TA1220BK uses a 10 A, 230 VAC IEC 320-C14 inlet receptacle, so a matching power cord can be selected for the installation. The three-fan tray does not use a rear support bracket; the adjustable rear bracket is supplied on the 6 and 9 fan models. FT300TA1220BK ships fully assembled, is TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, carries cRUus recognition and is manufactured in Canada.
