Hammond FT300HA1BK 1U 300 CFM 3-Fan Rack Tray, 115V, Switched

The FT300HA1BK is a 1U, 19-inch rack mount fan tray with three thermally protected ball-bearing fans that deliver 300 CFM of free flow air delivery. It is intended for IT, telecom, AV, industrial automation and server installations where heat needs to be removed from a specific rack zone rather than the whole cabinet. Because the tray mounts directly into the rack rails, airflow can be placed exactly where it is needed: at the bottom of the rack as an intake, at the top as an exhaust, or immediately beneath a heat-producing switch or server for spot cooling.

Construction is mild steel finished in black textured powder paint, with integrated finger guards above and below the fans so airflow stays unrestricted while the moving parts remain guarded. A resettable circuit breaker and a lighted power switch are built into the front panel, making this the switched version of the 300 CFM tray (the unswitched equivalent is FT300TA1BK).

The tray occupies a single rack unit at 1.75 in (44.45 mm) high, with a 19.000 in (482.60 mm) mounting flange width, a 17.008 in (431.99 mm) overall chassis width and a case depth of 7.50 in (193.42 mm). Shipping weight is 12 lbs (5.44 kg). The 3-fan model does not use a rear support bracket.

Electrically, FT300HA1BK is rated 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 3 Amps, drawing 0.5 running amps at 40 running watts, with a measured noise level of 63 dB. A 6 ft 14/3 STJW cord with a moulded three-prong NEMA 5-15P plug is supplied. The unit is cURus Recognized to UL507 and CSA C22.2 No. 113, is TAA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, manufactured in North America, and ships fully assembled.
