Hammond FT600HA1BK 600 CFM 1U Rack Fan Tray With Switch, 115V

The FT600HA1BK is a 1U rack mount fan tray with six thermally protected ball-bearing fans that deliver 600 CFM of free-flow air, built for 19" rack mounting in networking, telecommunications, industrial automation, AV and server installations. Because it installs directly into the rack rather than into the cabinet shell, airflow can be placed exactly where heat is generated — at the bottom of the cabinet as an intake, at the top as an exhaust, or directly beneath a heat-producing switch or server for spot cooling.

Construction is heavy-duty mild steel in a black finish, with integrated finger guards above and below the fans to improve safety while keeping airflow unrestricted. A resettable circuit breaker protects the tray during operation, and this version includes a lighted on/off power switch on the front panel for user-controlled operation (the FT600TA1BK is the equivalent model without a switch).

The tray measures 1.75 in x 17 in x 13 in (44 mm x 432 mm x 330 mm) nominal, with an overall rack-flange width of 19.000 in (482.60 mm) and a case depth of 13.00 in (330 mm) per the drawing and series table. Shipping weight is 20 lbs (9.07 kg). As a 6-fan model, FT600HA1BK includes an adjustable rear support bracket with an extension bracket set that spans a rear bracket depth from 2.40 in (61 mm) to 19.20 in (488 mm) for added stability in deeper cabinets.

Electrically, FT600HA1BK runs on 115 VAC 50/60 Hz, drawing 1 running amp and 80 running watts, and is supplied with a 14/3 STJW cord and moulded 3-prong NEMA 5-15P plug. Measured noise is 65 dB. The fan tray ships fully assembled, is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA compliant, cRUus recognised and manufactured in Canada.
