Hammond FT600TA1220BK 1U 600 CFM 6-Fan Cooling Tray, 220 VAC

The FT600TA1220BK is a 1U rack mount fan tray from the FT Series, built to deliver targeted cooling for rack-mounted equipment in networking, telecommunications, industrial automation, AV and server installations. It carries six thermally protected ball-bearing fans with a free flow air delivery of 600 CFM, and is the 220 VAC version without an on/off switch — suited to permanent installations where the tray runs continuously.

Construction is heavy-duty mild steel with a black textured powder paint finish. Integrated finger guards above and below the fans improve safety while maintaining unrestricted airflow, and a resettable circuit breaker helps safeguard the tray during operation. Power is supplied through a 10A, 230V IEC 320-C14 inlet receptacle, so an IEC power cord is used in place of the moulded plug cord found on the 115 VAC models.

The 19.000 in (482.60 mm) wide panel occupies a single rack unit at 1.750 in (44.45 mm) high, with a 13.00 in (330 mm) case depth. As a six-fan model, FT600TA1220BK includes an adjustable rear support bracket set with an adjustment range of 2.40 in (61 mm) to 19.20 in (488 mm) for added stability in deeper cabinets. Rear mount brackets, extension brackets, the associated hardware and mounting instructions are supplied; the 10-32 screws and clip nuts used at the rack rails are not supplied.

Because the tray mounts directly into the rack rather than the cabinet shell, airflow can be placed exactly where it is needed: at the bottom of the rack as an intake, at the top as an exhaust, or immediately beneath heat-producing equipment for spot cooling. Running load is 0.52 A / 80 W at 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with a noise rating of 65 dB. The tray ships fully assembled and is RoHS, REACH and TAA compliant, cRUus, and made in Canada.
