Hammond EN4SD12126WSS 12x12x6 in Window Door Type 4X Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD12126WSS is the smallest size in the Eclipse window door wallmount line, measuring 12 x 12 in with 6 in of depth. It is designed to enclose electrical or electronic equipment in wallmount applications where you need to see components operating while maintaining protection ratings, making it a fit for small installations that must be checked without opening the door.

At this size the enclosure is formed from 16 gauge 304 stainless steel (the series uses 16 gauge for 24 x 20 in and smaller). A full view UV resistant polycarbonate window gives maximum viewing area of the inner panel. Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, finished in natural stainless with a smooth brushed look. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door.

The door is secured by quarter turn latches with a slot requiring a tool; all window door latch types are quarter turns. Hinges, hinge pins and quarter turns are stainless steel, and the door is removable for modifications and interchangeable. The drawing shows a 10.52 x 10.52 in door opening and an 11.97 in wide door. The optional EP1212 inner panel, 10.20 x 10.20 in, mounts on collar studs.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 10.50 x 10.50 in centres, with an included hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers. Bonding and grounding studs are provided. The EN4SD12126WSS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66, and ships boxed at 11 lbs (4.99 kg).
