The EN4SD201610WSS is a 20 x 16 x 10 in Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel with a full view window door. It is built for installations where operators need to see component operation - pilot lights, drives, PLC status LEDs - while the enclosure keeps its Type 4X and IP66 protection.
The enclosure is formed from 16 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural brushed finish on both cover and body. A full view, UV resistant polycarbonate window gives maximum viewing area of the inner panel. Hidden stainless steel hinges with stainless hinge pins carry the door, and the quarter turn latches require a tool to open. A seamless poured-in place gasket and a formed lip on the enclosure help exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.
The body measures 20 in high, 16 in wide and 10 in deep (508 x 406 x 254 mm). On the part drawing the door opening is 14.52 x 18.52 in and the overall depth is 10.82 in. The matching optional inner panel is EP2016 at 18.20 x 14.20 in (462 x 361 mm). Shipping weight is 28 lbs (12.70 kg), packed in a box.
Installation details include collar studs for the inner panel, a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes, a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure. Doors are removable for modification and interchangeable. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001).
