Hammond EN4SD16126WSS 16x12x6 in Window Door Type 4X Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD16126WSS is a 16 in high, 12 in wide, 6 in deep Eclipse wallmount enclosure with a window door. It encloses electrical or electronic equipment where operators need to view component operation while protection ratings are maintained, so it suits compact control and monitoring installations that must be checked at a glance.

The enclosure is formed 16 gauge 304 stainless steel, the gauge the series specifies for 24 x 20 in and smaller sizes. A full view UV resistant polycarbonate window provides maximum viewing area of the inner panel. Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth under a natural stainless smooth brushed finish, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The door closes against a seamless poured-in place gasket.

Quarter turn latches with a tool slot secure the door; all window door latch types are quarter turns. Stainless steel hinges, hinge pins and quarter turns are used, and the door is removable and interchangeable. Per the drawing, the door opening is 10.52 in wide by 14.52 in high and the door is 11.97 in wide. The optional EP1612 inner panel measures 14.20 x 10.20 in and mounts on collar studs.

Mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 10.50 x 14.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. Bonding and grounding studs are provided. The EN4SD16126WSS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 16 lbs (7.26 kg).
