The EN4SD20166WSS is a shallow 20 x 16 in Eclipse window door enclosure with 6 in of depth. It is made for wallmount applications where viewing of component operation is necessary while maintaining protection ratings, where operators need to observe equipment through the closed door.
Construction is formed 16 gauge 304 stainless steel, per the series gauge for sizes 24 x 20 in and smaller, with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural stainless smooth brushed finish. The door carries a full view UV resistant polycarbonate window for maximum viewing area of the inner panel. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door.
Quarter turn latches requiring a tool secure the door, on stainless steel hinges with stainless steel hinge pins; the door is removable and interchangeable. The drawing shows a door opening of 14.52 in wide by 18.52 in high and a 15.97 in wide door. The optional EP2016 inner panel is 18.20 x 14.20 in and mounts on the collar studs provided.
Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 14.50 x 18.50 in centres, with a hardware kit of panel mounting nuts and sealing washers included. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the body are fitted. The EN4SD20166WSS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 rated, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IP66, and ships boxed at 22 lbs (9.98 kg).
