Hammond EN4SD161210WSS 16x12x10 Stainless Window Wallmount Enclosure, Type 4X

The EN4SD161210WSS is the 16 x 12 x 10 in size of the Eclipse Series Type 4X stainless steel wallmount enclosure with a window door. It suits panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers who need to watch indicator lights, meters or controller displays on a compact wall-hung control box without opening the door and breaking the seal.

The enclosure is formed from 16 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural brushed finish on both cover and body. A full view, UV resistant polycarbonate window gives maximum viewing area of the inner panel. Hidden stainless steel hinges with stainless hinge pins carry the door, and the quarter turn latches require a tool to open. A seamless poured-in place gasket and a formed lip on the enclosure help exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.

At 16 in high, 12 in wide and 10 in deep (406 x 305 x 254 mm), this is a compact footprint with a relatively deep body; the drawing shows a 10.52 x 14.52 in door opening and an overall depth of 10.82 in. It accepts the optional EP1612 inner panel measuring 14.20 x 10.20 in, and ships boxed at 17 lbs (7.71 kg).

Installation details include collar studs for the inner panel, a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes, a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure. Doors are removable for modification and interchangeable. Ratings: UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001).
