Hammond DNFF254GY115 550 CFM 254 mm Filter Fan Kit, 115 VAC

The DNFF254GY115 is a hard-wired filtered cooling fan kit built around a 10.00 in (254 mm) AC fan rated for 550 CFM free-flow air delivery at 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.29 Amps. It is the largest airflow rating in the DNFF Series and is intended for industrial control panels, electrical enclosures, telecommunications cabinets and OEM equipment where permanent wiring is preferred over a plug-in cord set.

The kit pairs a high-airflow AC fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter so cooling air is drawn in while dust and airborne contaminants are reduced, helping maintain safe operating temperatures around PLCs, drives, networking gear and other sensitive electronics. The front screen and back panel are flame-retardant ABS plastic; this version ships with the ANSI 61 Gray (Gray) filter grille to match Hammond cabinets and enclosures finished in that colour.

The assembled grille measures 305.00 mm [12.008 in] square with an overall depth of 119.30 mm [4.697 in], and mounts to a 279.40 mm [11.000 in] square panel cutout using the 16 x ø6.35 mm [0.250 in] hole pattern. Everything needed for installation is included: fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard, a 2 ft (24 inch) wire lead, and mounting hardware consisting of 12 self-tapping 10-32 x 1/2" panhead screws, 8 black #10-32 x 1/2" panhead screws, 8 #10 flat washers and 8 #10-32 serrated nuts. Measured noise is 60 dB.

DNFF254GY115 can be operated continuously or switched through an external thermostat. Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113, and the kit is RoHS and REACH compliant. Replacement PFF6000 standard filter media and PLFF6000 pleated filter media are available separately in packs of five for routine maintenance.
