Hammond DNFF150GY230 150 mm Filter Fan Kit, 230 VAC Ansi 61 Gray

The DNFF150GY230 is a hard-wired filtered cooling fan kit built around a 6.00 in (152 mm) 230 VAC fan, supplied with an ANSI 61 Gray flame-retardant ABS filter grille. It is intended for OEM engineers, panel builders, industrial automation integrators and IT/telecom teams who need active, filtered airflow through the wall or door of an enclosure, electrical cabinet or rack system rather than a plug-in fan tray.

The kit pairs an AC fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter so cooling air is drawn in while dust and airborne contaminants are reduced, helping keep PLCs, drives, network gear and other sensitive electronics within safe operating temperatures. Both the front screen and back panel of the grille are ABS plastic, and the ANSI 61 Gray finish is one of three grille colours offered in the series for matching Hammond cabinets and enclosures.

The assembly measures 196.00 mm (7.717 in) square on the front, with a 154.83 mm (6.096 in) side profile dimension and a circular ø143.00 mm (ø5.630 in) plate cutout with four ø6.35 mm (ø0.250 in) mounting holes. The fan is rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.15 A with free flow air delivery of 190/230 CFM and a noise rating of 53 dB. 12 inch wire leads are provided for permanent wiring, and the DNFF150GY230 can be used with or without an external thermostat.

Every kit includes the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard and mounting hardware: two panhead Taptite 10-32 x 1/2 in screws, two flathead #10-32 x 1/2 in screws, two flathead Taptite #10-32 x 1/2 in screws and two #10-32 locktooth nuts. Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113, and the product is RoHS and REACH compliant. Replacement media is available as PFF4000 standard filters or PLFF4000 pleated filters, each in packs of five.
