Hammond DNFF150BK230 150 mm Hard-Wired Filter Fan Kit, 230 CFM

The DNFF150BK230 is a filtered AC cooling fan kit for industrial enclosures, electrical cabinets and rack systems. It pairs a 6.00 in (152 mm) fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter so cooling air is drawn in while dust and airborne contaminants are reduced, helping keep PLCs, drives, network gear and other sensitive electronics within safe operating temperatures.

This version is wired for 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz operation at 0.15 A and ships with 12 inch wire leads, making it suited to hard-wired installations in control panels and permanently installed OEM equipment where a standard AC plug is not wanted. It can be used on its own for continuous "always on" airflow, or switched by an external thermostat. Free flow air delivery is 190/230 CFM with a noise rating of 53 dB.

The front screen and back panel are ABS plastic, and the filter grille on DNFF150BK230 is black flame-retardant ABS to match Hammond cabinets and enclosures. The assembly measures 196.00 mm (7.717 in) square, and the required plate cutout is a 143.00 mm (5.630 in) circle with four 6.35 mm (0.250 in) mounting holes. Shipping weight is 3.45 lbs (1.56 kg).

The complete kit includes the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard, wiring leads and mounting hardware: two 10-32 x 1/2 in panhead taptite screws, two #10-32 x 1/2 in flathead screws, two #10-32 x 1/2 in flathead taptite screws and two #10-32 locktooth nuts. Replacement media is available separately as PFF4000 standard filter media or PLFF4000 pleated filter media, both packs of five.

Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant and TAA compliant. Complementary XPFA exhaust filter grilles can be added for balanced enclosure ventilation.
