Hammond C4F244242BK1 24U Modular Server Cabinet Frame, 24 x 42

The C4F244242BK1 is a 24U welded steel cabinet frame from the C4 Modular Server Rack Cabinet System, intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure builds where the cabinet is configured from separate frames, rails, doors and panels. It measures 48.5 in x 24 in x 42 in (1,232 mm x 610 mm x 1,067 mm) overall, with the series ordering table listing overall dimensions of 48.58 in height (includes leveling feet), 24.00 in width and 42.00 in depth.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets, finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat. When assembled by Hammond as a complete cabinet, the platform is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3000 lb load rating (UL File # E474597) and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load against IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards. Individual components such as this frame are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own and must be assembled as a complete cabinet to meet those certification requirements.

Usable mounting height is 42.00 in (1067 mm) for 24U of equipment, with 40.00 in (1016 mm) of usable mounting depth. Mounting rails are not included: this part is supplied as "Frame Only - No Rails" and pairs with the 19" square-hole rail set C4PR2442SZPL. Mounting depth is infinitely adjustable using C-channel struts, and square-hole EIA-310 compliant 12-gauge rails support server sliding rail kits.

The frame is a welded assembly with cable entry plugs included, four leveling feet with 5/16-18 threads, a caster pattern, lagging points and four 1/2-13 nuts for optional eye-bolts. C4F244242BK1 accepts interchangeable top and bottom panels, 24U 24.00 in wide front/rear doors, and 24U 42.00 in deep side panels, plus C4 cable management, containment, PDU and shelf accessories. It is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and made in Canada.
