Hammond C4F244231BK1 24U Server Cabinet Frame, 31.5 in Deep

C4F244231BK1 is a 24U open cabinet frame from the C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized 48.5 in x 24 in x 31.5 in (1,232 mm x 610 mm x 800 mm). It is the structural starting point for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure builds where the doors, side panels, top and bottom panels, rails and accessories are selected to match the application. Mounting rails are not included with this frame.

The frame is a welded assembly in 14-gauge mild steel with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets, finished in RAL9005 Black powder coat. Cable entry plugs are included. Overall height of 48.58 in (1234 mm) includes the four leveling feet (5/16-18 thread), and the frame also provides a caster hole pattern and lagging points for floor anchoring. Usable mounting space is 42.00 in (1067 mm) high — 42.06 in (1068 mm) / 24U per the drawing — with 29.50 in (749 mm) of usable mounting depth, and mounting depth is infinitely adjustable using C-channel struts.

The 24 in wide frame provides cabling space with four 3.50 in (89 mm) diameter cable entry holes on the top, plus a 19.92 in (506 mm) interchangeable top panel opening and a bottom panel opening. Collar studs (1/4-20) are provided — four on top and two on the bottom — for panel attachment.

C4F244231BK1 pairs with 19" square-hole EIA-310 rail pair C4PR2442SZPL. When assembled by Hammond as a complete cabinet, the C4 platform is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3000 lb load rating (UL file E474597) and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load; individual components are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own. The frame is TAA-compliant and made in Canada.
