Hammond C4F244236BK1 24U 24x36 Server Cabinet Frame, 3000 lb

The C4F244236BK1 is a 24U open cabinet frame from the C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized 24 in wide by 36 in deep with an overall height of 48.58 in including leveling feet. It is the structural starting point for data center, enterprise IT and network builds where the cabinet is configured from separate frames, rails, doors, side panels and top panels rather than bought as a fixed assembly.

Construction is a welded mild steel assembly using a 14-gauge steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. Doors and panels in the platform are 16-gauge, and the frame supports a 3000 lb UL2416 load rating when assembled by Hammond as a complete cabinet. Note that individual components are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own; a complete Hammond-assembled cabinet is also seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load under IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards.

Usable mounting dimensions for this frame are 42.00 in of height (24U) and 34.00 in of mounting depth, with infinitely adjustable mounting depth via C-channel struts. Mounting rails are not included: this part is supplied as "Frame Only - No Rails", and the matching 19 in square-hole rail pair is C4PR2442SZPL. Square-hole rails in the platform are 12-gauge steel, EIA-310 compliant and support server sliding rail kits, and ship with a starter pack of cage nuts and mounting hardware.

The frame includes four leveling feet with 5/16-18 threads, a caster mounting pattern, three lagging points for bolt-down, and four 1/2-13 threads for optional eye-bolts. Cable entry plugs are included, and the 24 in wide frame provides generous cabling space with four 3.5 in wide cable entry holes on top. Grounding and bonding provisions run throughout the frame, doors and panels. C4F244236BK1 is made in Canada, TAA-compliant, and RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
