Hammond BWJ6A108 108-Inch 6 AWG Rack Bonding Wire Jumper

The BWJ6A108 is a 108.00 in (2743 mm) bonding wire jumper from the BWJ Series, supplied as a rack cabinet ground kit for IT, AV, electrical and facilities teams that need to bond racks, cabinets and rack-mounted equipment back to a common grounding point. Its long length suits runs between spaced-apart frames or from a cabinet to a ground bar that is not immediately adjacent.

The jumper is built from #6 AWG 266-strand copper cable, MTW/TEW UL1283 type, with green insulation and a yellow stripe for clear identification as a grounding conductor. The BWJ Series is constructed with UL Listed components. One end is terminated with a crimped-on 6 GA compression lug for a 1/4 in stud; the opposite end is supplied blunt cut so it can be terminated to suit the installation.

The two-hole compression lug has 2 bolt holes of 0.28 in (7 mm) diameter spaced 0.62 in (16 mm) apart, giving an anti-rotation connection at the bonding point. Mounting hardware is included for fastening to either 1/4-20 or 10-32 studs, and a stick-on grounding symbol is provided for compliance labelling. Quick disconnecting terminals are not included on this part.
