Hammond BWJ6A1200 1200 in #6 AWG Bonding Wire Jumper, 2-Hole Lug

The BWJ6A1200 is a bonding wire jumper from the BWJ Series, supplied as a rack cabinet ground kit for bonding racks, cabinets, enclosures and equipment frames to a grounding system. It suits IT and AV integrators, electricians, data centre and facilities teams who need a factory-terminated ground strap rather than field-built wire.

The jumper uses #6 AWG 266-strand copper conductor of MTW/TEW UL1283 type with green insulation and a yellow stripe, and is constructed with UL Listed components. One end is terminated with a crimped-on 6 GA compression lug with two bolt holes 0.281 in (7.1 mm) in diameter spaced 5/8 in (15.9 mm) apart; the drawing identifies the termination for a 1/4 in stud, and the opposite end is blunt cut for field termination or cut-to-length use.

This part number is the longest length in the series at 1200.00 in (30480 mm), making it useful where a single continuous run or multiple field-cut jumpers are needed from one cable. One cable is included, with a shipping weight of 12 lbs (5.44 kg).

Mounting hardware is included for fastening to either 1/4-20 or 10-32 studs, and a stick-on grounding symbol is supplied for compliance labelling. Quick-disconnecting terminals are not provided on the BWJ6A1200.
