Hammond 2CLBX263618 36" Dual Access Console Base, Light Gray

When a 36 inch console section has to be serviced from both sides, the 2CLBX263618 dual access base unit is the Series 2000 part to specify. It is intended for control and operator consoles where panel mounted or rack mounted equipment sits in the base and other modular components such as a terminal, desk, turret or further base are added alongside or on top.

A solid door is fitted on the front and another on the back. At this width each opening uses a single door that can be hinged from either side. The drawing lists a door of 35.81 in wide by 25.50 in high, a door opening of 33.42 x 23.42 in and 30.63 x 23.43 in of clear space available on each door. Doors close on slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches against permanently secured oil resistant gaskets.

Overall enclosure size is 26.00 in H x 36.00 in W x 16.50 in D (660 x 914 x 419 mm), with a 17.90 in inside depth; the nominal listing is 26 x 36 x 18. The body and doors are 14 gauge steel with continuously welded seams and a RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coat. The top is open, and the bottom is closed with a removable access panel and gland plate installed from inside.

The 2CLBX263618 is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12, CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13 and IEC 60529 IP66 and conforms to EIA RS-310-E. It ships on a skid at 120 lbs (54.43 kg).
