Hammond 2CLBX266018 60" Dual Access Console Base, Light Gray Steel

The 2CLBX266018 is the largest dual access base unit in the Series 2000 Modular Console System, at 60 inches wide. It gives integrators and panel builders a long console section that can be reached from both the front and the back, for panel mounted or rack mounted equipment working with other bases, terminals, desks or turrets.

Each face is closed by two outside hinged doors. Per the drawing, each door is 29.78 in wide by 25.50 in high, the door opening is 57.42 x 23.42 in, and 24.63 x 23.43 in of clear space is available on the doors. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches hold the doors against oil resistant, permanently secured gaskets, and a formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants.

Dimensions are 26.00 in H x 60.00 in W x 16.50 in D (660 x 1524 x 419 mm), nominal 26 x 60 x 18, with a 17.93 in inside depth. The 14 gauge steel body is continuously welded, stiffened where required and powder coated in RAL 7035 light gray with a textured finish. It has an open top and a closed bottom with removable access panel and gland plate installed from inside.

The 2CLBX266018 carries UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12, CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13 and IEC 60529 IP66 ratings and conforms to EIA RS-310-E. It ships on a skid at 180 lbs (81.65 kg).
