Hammond 2CSB262418 24" Stainless Steel Single Access Console Base

The 2CSB262418 is a 24 inch single access base unit in 304 stainless steel, part of the Series 2000 Modular Console System. Choosing stainless adds Type 4X to the ratings of the mild steel version, making this base a fit for consoles where corrosion resistance matters. It accepts panel mounted or rack mounted equipment and is generally combined with another base, terminal, desk or turret.

The body and door are formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams and a natural, smooth brushed finish. Stainless steel hardware is used throughout. One solid front door, which can be hinged from either side on this width, closes on slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches and permanently secured oil resistant gaskets.

Enclosure dimensions are 26.00 in H x 24.00 in W x 17.30 in D (660 x 610 x 439 mm). The drawing shows a door 23.75 in wide by 25.50 in high, a door opening of 21.56 x 23.42 in, 19.13 x 23.43 in of clear space available on the door, and an inside depth of 18.01 in. The sides and back are solid, the top is open and the closed bottom has a removable access panel and a gland plate installed from inside.
