The 1599EGYBAT is the light grey, flame retardant E-size 1599 Series handheld enclosure with a battery door. It suits portable instruments and controllers powered by AA, AAA or 9V cells that users need to change without opening the main case.
The box and lid are flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0, assembled with machine screws into integral brass bushings. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, battery door and 4 cover screws, with a recommended torque of 42-57 ozf.in (30-40 cN.m). Replacement M3-0.5 x 12mm cover screws are 1599HMS100 or 1599HMS100BK.
