The 1591DSFLBK combines the economy general purpose ABS body with a lid that has wall mounting flanges molded in. At 150 x 80 x 50 mm (5.91 x 3.15 x 1.97 in) in black, it is a budget option for installers and product builders who need to fix a small circuit board housing to a wall or panel.
The material is general purpose ABS, not flame retardant, with a UL94 HB rating. Four #4 self-tapping black screws fasten the lid into fully plastic posts; the drawing recommends 42-57 ozf.in (30-40 cN.m). The lid also accepts #4 x 1/4" (6.4 mm) self-tapping screws for mounting a PC board to it (1593ATS50 / 1593ATS100).
The drawing shows 175.30 mm (6.902 in) overall length across the lid flanges and inside space of 143.61 x 73.61 x 46.10 mm. Card guides in all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062") boards. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, with an IP54 design.
