With an almost square 122 x 120 mm footprint, the 1590ZGRP121BK gives integrators a compact but roomy watertight box for a PC board or a small inner-panel assembly. It is molded from black glass reinforced polyester in a heavy duty thick wall design with a smooth finish.
Assembled depth is 91 mm, made up of a 65 mm enclosure and a deep 26 mm lid. The part drawing shows inside dimensions of about 112.29 mm long, 110.11 mm wide and 80.85 mm high. A PC board up to 108 x 107 mm, or the optional 16 gauge galvanized steel inner panel 1590ZGRP121PL, mounts on the molded-in internal shelf, which also holds the bonding/mounting nuts and accepts M6x1 screws.
The lid is gasketed with silicone sponge and closes with two piece tongue and groove construction. Its stainless steel screws become captive once installed; four cover screws are included, with a recommended torque of 13.3-17.7 lbf.in (150-200 cN.m). Replacement lid screws are SC570-20 (M6 x 30 mm, 20 pack) and panel/ground screws are SCGM6GRP-20.
Protection data covers IP66, NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13, certification to NEMA 4 and 4X per UL 508A, cUL & UL listing (file E65324), UL94 V-0 flame rating and IK09 impact per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262, with a recommended operating temperature of -40°C to +100°C.
