Hammond 1590ZGRP084BK 80x75x75mm NEMA 4X Black Fiberglass Enclosure

The 1590ZGRP084BK is the compact, deeper-bodied member of the 1590ZGRPBK family: a watertight, thick wall enclosure molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish. It suits OEM engineers and panel builders who need to protect a small PC board or inner-panel assembly where dust, water and impact are a concern.

The box measures 80 mm long by 75 mm wide with a 75 mm assembled depth, split between a 61 mm enclosure body and a 15 mm lid. Inside, the drawing gives roughly 70.13 x 65.24 mm of floor space and 65.10 mm of height, and the internal shelf takes a PC board up to 68 x 63 mm or the optional 1590ZGRP081PL galvanized steel inner panel.

The gasketed lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction with a silicone sponge gasket, held by self-captivated stainless steel screws. Four M4 cover screws come with the box; the recommended torque is 8.8-13.3 lbf.in (100-150 cN.m). Wall mounting uses through holes that sit outside the gasket channel, so the seal is not compromised.

Ratings include IP66, NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, certification to NEMA 4 and 4X per UL 508A, cUL and UL listing under file E65324, UL94 V-0 flame rating and an IK09 impact rating per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262. The recommended operating range is -40°C to +100°C, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
