The 1590ZGRP082PL is the steel inner mounting panel made for the 1590ZGRP082 enclosure, the 110 mm x 75 mm x 55 mm size of the 1590ZGRP glass reinforced polyester series. It gives installers a removable, metal mounting surface for small components and circuit boards so nothing needs to be fastened directly to the fiberglass.
The panel is 16 gauge galvanized steel, 97 mm x 62 mm x 2 mm (3.82 in x 2.44 in x 0.06 in), with a 1.61 mm (.06 in) thickness on the drawing and 1.00 x 45° corner chamfers. It mounts through two 5.00 mm (.20 in) holes onto the enclosure's internal shelf, where molded-in nuts accept the fasteners.
Panel mounting screws and washers are included with the panel. The drawing identifies the fastener as a copper plated M4-0.7 x 6 mm mounting screw (SCGM4), and extra panel screws for the 1590ZGRP082 come as SCGM4-50. Tighten the panel screws to 45-50 cN-m (65-70 ozf-in).
