Hammond 1590ZGRP082BK 110 x 75 x 55 mm Black Watertight Polyester Enclosure

The 1590ZGRP082BK is a small, watertight enclosure molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish and heavy duty thick wall. At 110 mm long it offers more board length than the 1590ZGRP081BK while keeping the same 75 mm width, for designers who want a black NEMA 4X and IP66 housing.

The part page lists 4.32 x 2.94 x 2.17 in (110 x 75 x 55 mm); the ordering table gives 4.33 in (110 mm) long, 2.95 in (75 mm) wide and 2.20 in (56 mm) assembled depth, with a 41 mm base and 15 mm lid. A PC board up to 97 x 62 mm fits the internal shelf, and the 1590ZGRP082PL steel inner panel is available separately.

Four self-captivated stainless steel screws hold the two piece tongue and groove lid against a silicone sponge gasket; recommended cover screw torque is 8.8-13.3 lbf.in (100-150 cN.m). Spare lid screws are SC583-50 (M4 - 0.7 x 25mm), and copper ground hardware is SCGM4-50. Wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel.

It is rated IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, certified to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A, C UL and UL listed under file E65324, and carries an IK09 impact rating in conformity with IEC 62208 and IEC 62262 plus a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Recommended operating temperature for the 1590ZGRP082BK is -40°C to +100°C. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, with a shipping weight of 0.73 lbs (0.33 kg).
