The 1590WNBK is the black textured, water-tight version of the 1590N diecast aluminum enclosure. Designed to meet IP65, it gives equipment builders and electronics engineers a compact, sealed metal housing with a painted finish that suits front-of-house or customer-facing products.
The die-cast aluminum alloy box and lid are painted with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included to match. Lap joint construction and the silicone gasket, which ships loose inside the enclosure rather than pre-installed, provide the sealing.
The 1590WNBK has a nominal size of 121 x 66 x 40 mm (4.76 x 2.60 x 1.57 in) including the 4 mm lid, and the part page lists 4.75 x 2.61 x 1.42 in (121 x 66 x 36 mm).
