The 1590WNFBK is the black textured, water-tight 1590N diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged bottom plate. It gives panel builders and OEM designers a sealed, flange-mounted metal housing, designed to meet IP65, in a painted finish.
Box and lid are die-cast aluminum alloy painted with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish even after machining, and black screws are included. The bottom flange is welded to the box. Lap joint construction works together with the silicone gasket, which is supplied loose inside the enclosure and not pre-installed, so machining can be done before sealing.
The nominal size is 121 x 66 x 40 mm (4.76 x 2.60 x 1.57 in). The flange extends the overall length to 146.05 mm [5.750 in], and overall height is 41.50 mm [1.634 in]. Interior dimensions are 113.71 x 57.81 x 35.20 mm [4.477 x 2.276 x 1.386 in], with internal ribs that locate a P.C. board up to 112.24 x 56.34 mm and a side wall draft angle of 2 degrees or less.
Supplied with box, lid, gasket and 4 M3.5x0.6 cover screws. Recommended torque with the gasket is 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in]. The 1590NGASKET replacement kit and 1550WMS100BK black liquid resistant screws are listed accessories. Shipping weight is 0.38 lbs (0.17 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
