The 1590WNF combines the water-tight 1590N diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged bottom plate, in a natural unpainted finish. It is intended for installers and OEM engineers who need an IP65-rated housing that bolts straight onto a panel, wall or machine frame.
The box and lid are die-cast aluminum alloy and the bottom flange is welded. The unpainted surface is vibra finished for smoothness with no sharp edges. Sealing comes from lap joint construction plus a silicone gasket, which is supplied loose inside the enclosure and not pre-installed.
Nominal size is 121 x 66 x 40 mm (4.76 x 2.60 x 1.57 in). With the flange, the drawing shows an overall length of 146.05 mm [5.750 in] and an overall height of 41.50 mm [1.634 in]. The interior measures 113.71 mm [4.477 in] by 57.81 mm [2.276 in] by 35.20 mm [1.386 in], and internal ribs take a P.C. board up to 112.24 x 56.34 mm.
