The 1590WBBFLBK is the black textured, water-tight 1590BB diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged lid for wall mounting. Engineers, integrators and product builders use this style when they need a painted metal housing that fixes to a surface through the lid and is designed to meet IP65.
It is built from diecast aluminum alloy, which is tough yet easy to machine. The black finish is a tough polyester powder paint that remains a lasting finish after machining, and black screws are included for a matching look. The lid and box meet at a lap joint for protection against dust and splashing water. The silicone gasket is provided loose inside the enclosure rather than pre-installed.
The nominal size is 4.72 x 3.70 x 1.34 in (120 x 94 x 34 mm). Overall, the drawing shows 148.00 mm [5.827 in] across the lid flange, 94.00 mm [3.701 in] across the body and 34.00 mm [1.339 in] of height. Inside there is room for 112.66 x 87.16 x 29.75 mm [4.435 x 3.432 x 1.171 in], with a maximum PC board of 85.16 x 110.66 mm and side wall draft of 2 degrees or less.
