The 1590WBBF is the natural-finish, water-tight 1590BB diecast aluminum enclosure fitted with a flanged bottom plate for surface mounting. Integrators, electricians and OEM engineers can use it where a small metal electronics housing needs to be fixed down and designed to meet IP65.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy; the bottom flange is welded to the box. The unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges, and lap joint construction at the lid seam protects against dust and splashing water. A silicone gasket comes with this liquid-resistant version and is supplied loose, not pre-installed.
Nominal size is 4.72 x 3.70 x 1.34 in (120 x 94 x 34 mm). On the drawing, the enclosure spans 148.24 mm [5.836 in] across the bottom flange, the box body is 119.50 mm [4.705 in] long and 94.00 mm [3.701 in] wide, and overall height is 35.50 mm [1.398 in].
