The 1590LLBF is the slim 51 mm x 51 mm x 25 mm (1.99 in x 1.99 in x 0.98 in) 1590 Series diecast aluminum box with a welded flanged bottom plate. It gives electricians, integrators and OEM designers a very compact metal housing that fastens directly to a wall, panel or machine.
The drawing shows a flange plate 78.99 mm [3.110 in] long and 36.88 mm [1.452 in] wide, with 3.96 mm [0.156 in] holes on 67.72 mm x 25.40 mm [2.666 in x 1.000 in] centres. The box is 50.50 mm [1.988 in] square and 25.00 mm [0.984 in] tall, with 45.63 mm [1.796 in] of inside length and width and 21.00 mm [0.827 in] of inside height; P.C. boards up to 44.83 mm square fit.
Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine, and this natural version is vibra finished for a smooth surface without sharp edges. A lap joint lid gives protection against dust and splashing water, and the standard version is designed to meet IP54. Side walls are drafted at 2° or less for easy board mounting.
The 1590LLBF includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, with a recommended torque of 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. The 1590LBGASKET kit upgrades it to IP65 at 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in], and the water-tight version is 1590WLLBF. RoHS and REACH compliant; 0.18 lbs (0.08 kg), shrink wrapped.
