The 1590LLBBK is the black textured version of the slim 1590LLB, a small diecast aluminum enclosure of 1.99 in x 1.99 in x 0.98 in (51 mm x 51 mm x 25 mm). It is a neat housing for thin boards, compact sensors and small modules where a finished black look is preferred.
The diecast aluminum alloy box and lid are coated in a tough polyester powder paint that holds up even after machining, and black screws are supplied. A lap joint between lid and box protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54.
The drawing shows the box at 50.50 mm [1.988 in] square and 25.00 mm [0.984 in] tall. Inside there is 45.63 mm [1.796 in] of length and width and 21.00 mm [0.827 in] of height, and P.C. boards up to 44.83 mm square fit. Side walls have a draft angle of 2° or less for easy board mounting. This version has no flanges.
The 1590LLBBK includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, with a recommended torque of 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in]. Fit the 1590LBGASKET kit and torque to 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] for IP65, or order the water-tight 1590WLLBBK. RoHS and REACH compliant; 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg), shrink wrapped.
