Hammond 1590EFLBK 188x120x82mm Black Diecast Box with Flanged Lid

The 1590EFLBK is a textured black 1590E diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged lid. The wall-mounting flange is integrated into the lid, and the nominal 188 x 120 x 82 mm (7.4 x 4.72 x 3.23 in) body gives plenty of depth for control electronics, terminal blocks or taller boards.

Its aluminum alloy box and lid are coated with tough polyester powder paint, a finish that lasts even after machining, and black screws are included. The lap joint between lid and box protects against dust and splashing water, with the standard enclosure designed to meet IP54.

The 1590EFLBK includes six cover screws for factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes, recommended at 50-55 cN.m. Adding the 1590EGASKET kit and 1590WMS100BK black stainless O-ring screws at 25-30 cN.m gives an IP65 design; the factory water-tight version is 1590WEFLBK.

RoHS and REACH compliant and shrink wrapped. Custom milling, drilling and printing are available from the factory, along with STEP or IGES solid models.
