The 1590EFL is the flanged-lid version of the 1590E diecast aluminum enclosure, with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. It has a nominal size of 188 x 120 x 82 mm (7.4 x 4.72 x 3.23 in), giving installers a deep enclosure that mounts to a wall or panel through its lid.
The natural, unpainted diecast aluminum alloy is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, and the standard 1590EFL is designed to meet IP54. Side walls are drafted at 2° or less for easy PC board mounting.
The drawing shows an overall length of 217.00 mm [8.543 in] including the lid flange, a box width of 119.50 mm and a height of 82.00 mm. Inside, the 1590EFL offers 177.67 mm of length, 109.67 mm of width and 79.50 mm of height, and takes PC boards up to 175.67 x 107.67 mm. Shipping weight is 1.37 lb (0.62 kg).
It comes with box, lid and six cover screws in factory-tapped 6-32 UNC holes (recommended torque 50-55 cN.m). An IP65 design is possible with the 1590EGASKET kit, 1590WMS100 O-ring screws and 25-30 cN.m lid torque; the gasketed version is 1590WEFL. RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, with factory modification and STEP/IGES models available.
