The 1590BXFLBK pairs a long, slim 254 x 70 x 50 mm (10 x 2.76 x 1.95 in) diecast aluminum box with a lid that has its own wall-mounting flange, in a textured black finish. Mount the lid to a wall or panel and the box closes onto it, which suits OEM, AV and industrial builders who want a finished-looking metal housing for elongated boards.
The powder finish is a tough polyester paint that keeps a lasting finish even after machining, and black screws are included so the hardware matches. Underneath, box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy with lap joint construction that protects against dust and splashing water; the standard version is designed to meet IP54.
