The 1590BXGASKET is a two-pack of pre-formed silicone gaskets for the 1590BX and 1590BX2 families of diecast aluminum enclosures (254 x 70 mm footprint). It is the kit to order when you want to upgrade a standard IP54 enclosure to IP65, or to replace the gasket on a water-tight version.
Each kit includes two pre-formed silicone gaskets with adhesive backing for easy installation. The gasket is applied to the lid, so you can machine and/or paint the enclosure first and gasket it later, keeping the seal clean during fabrication. The gasket carries a temperature rating of -40°C to 150°C (-40°F to 302°F).
- Fits the 1590BX (1.97 in / 50 mm high) and 1590BX2 (1.38 in / 35 mm high) enclosure rows, natural and black
- Also covers the flanged-lid (FL) and flanged-bottom-plate (F) versions of those sizes
