Hammond 1589T70G1 70-Inch 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, 20A 120V

The 1589T70G1 is a 70 in (1778 mm) vertical basic power distribution unit rated 20A at 120VAC, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need straightforward rack power without metering or switching. It carries 10 heavy-duty black NEMA 5-20R receptacles (20A, 125VAC, single T-slot), a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker and a pilot light in place of an on/off switch, so technicians can confirm power at a glance.

Construction is a low-profile anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged yet light enough for vertical mounting. Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip, with 127.00 mm (5.000 in) between outlet centres on this 70 in body. Overall assembly length is 1789.89 mm (70.468 in), and shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg).

Power input is a 15 ft heavy duty 12 gauge cord (12/3 SJT) rated for extreme temperature ranges, terminated in an integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight blade plug. Operating temperature range is -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with the strip; additional kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP.

1589T70G1 can be installed in server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks, or mounted horizontally above a work bench. Note that outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories; allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts.
