Hammond 1589T70F124 70 in 24-Outlet Vertical PDU, 20A 120V Pilot

The 1589T70F124 is a 70 in long vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 20A at 120VAC single-phase, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need dependable power distribution inside server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks. It carries 24 NEMA 5-20R heavy-duty black receptacles rated 20A/125VAC (single T-slot) that accept both 5-15P and 5-20P equipment cords, and it ships with a 6 ft 12/3 SJT power cord terminated in an integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight blade plug.

This version of the strip uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on/off switch, plus a resettable 20 amp circuit breaker for local overcurrent protection. The low-profile slim housing is a rugged, lightweight anodized aluminum extrusion in a natural finish with ABS plastic end caps, and receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced along the length of the strip. Overall assembly length is 1789.89 mm (70.468 in) with a strip length of 70.00 in (1778 mm).

Each 1589T70F124 includes a mounting bracket kit with hardware; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP. The strip can be mounted vertically in a cabinet or installed horizontally above a work bench. Note that outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories; allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails when mounting vertically to the struts.

The 1589T70F124 is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified (UL file E166039), operates from -20 C to +60 C, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant as well as TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. Manufactured in North America; a black finish is available upon request.
