Hammond 1589T70D124 70-Inch 24-Outlet Vertical PDU, 20A 120V

The 1589T70D124 is a 70 in (1778 mm) vertical basic PDU from the Hammond 1589H-T Series, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need dependable 20A, 120V single-phase power distribution inside a cabinet or rack. It carries 24 heavy-duty black NEMA 5-20R receptacles (single T-slot) rated 20A, 125VAC, all mounted on the front face of the strip, with a power indicator (pilot light) version rather than an on/off switch, plus a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the unit rugged but light at a 7 lbs (3.18 kg) shipping weight. The finish is natural; black is available upon request. Receptacles are 1 in square and equally spaced over the length of the strip. Overall assembly length is 1789.86 mm (70.467 in) per the drawing, with a 1783.08 mm (70.200 in) case length.

Power is supplied by an integral heavy-duty 12/3 SJT cord, 15 ft long, suited to extreme temperature ranges, terminated in a molded NEMA L5-20P locking plug. Operating temperature range is -20 C to +60 C. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included; additional kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP.

1589T70D124 can be mounted vertically in server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks, or horizontally above a work bench. Note that outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, as the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories; allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts.

The series is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 (UL File # E166039), RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA and TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America.
