Hammond 1589T70F1 70 in Vertical PDU, 10 Outlets, Pilot Light

The 1589T70F1 is a 70 in long vertical basic power distribution unit rated 20A at 120VAC, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need to distribute single-phase power inside server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks. It can also be installed horizontally above a work bench. This version carries a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on/off switch; the equivalent switched model is 1589H70F1.

The case is an anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, giving a low-profile, slim and light weight assembly. The drawing shows an overall strip length of 1783.08 mm (70.200 in) with an assembly length of 1789.89 mm (70.468 in), a body width of 41.05 mm (1.616 in) and a depth of 29.18 mm (1.149 in). Shipping weight is 8 lbs (3.63 kg) and the finish is natural; black finish is available upon request.

Power is supplied through a heavy duty 12 gauge 12/3 SJT cord, 6 ft long, with an integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight blade plug. Outlets are heavy-duty black NEMA 5-20R single T-slot receptacles rated 20A, 125VAC, spaced equally over the length of the strip on 127.00 mm (5.000 in) centers, and a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker protects the load. Operating temperature range is -20 C to +60 C.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included with 1589T70F1; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP. Note that outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets, and sufficient depth behind the rear rails is required for vertical mounting to the struts.
