Hammond 1589T60D1 60 in. 10-Outlet Vertical PDU, 20A L5-20P

The 1589T60D1 is a 60 in. (1524 mm) vertical basic PDU from the 1589H-T Series, built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need reliable 20A, 120V distribution inside a cabinet or rack without metering or switching. This version uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on/off switch, and terminates in a 15 ft, 12/3 SJT heavy-duty cord with an integral molded NEMA L5-20P locking plug.

The case is a low-profile anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the strip rugged but light. Receptacles are heavy-duty black NEMA 5-20R (single T-slot) types rated 20A, 125VAC, 1 in. square and equally spaced along the length of the strip; the series ordering table and drawing list 10 outlets for this length, all facing one side. A resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker is built in. Overall assembly length on the drawing is 1535.99 mm [60.472 in], with the extrusion measuring 1529.08 mm [60.200 in] and a body depth of 41.05 mm [1.616 in]. Finish is natural (anodized); black finish is available in the series upon request.

1589T60D1 ships with a mounting bracket kit and hardware, so it can be mounted vertically in server cabinets and wall mount cabinets, on open frame racks, or horizontally above a work bench. Additional clip kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. Per the series notes, outlet strips should not be installed between the front and rear panel rails of a rack cabinet, and sufficient depth must be allowed behind the rear rails for vertical mounting to the struts.

The unit is UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified (UL file E166039), RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases in the USA, USMCA compliant, and manufactured in North America. Operating temperature range is -20 C to +60 C.
