Hammond 1589T60F1 60-Inch Vertical PDU, 10 Outlets, 20A Pilot Light

The 1589T60F1 is a 60 in. long vertical basic PDU (power outlet strip) rated 20A at 120VAC single-phase, built for IT, AV and electrical teams powering equipment inside server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks. It carries ten 20A/125V NEMA 5-20R receptacles, a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker and a power indicator light instead of an on/off switch, so connected loads stay energized while still giving a clear visual power status.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion case with ABS plastic ends, keeping the strip rugged yet light enough for vertical strut mounting. The finish is Natural. Heavy-duty black receptacles are 1 in. square and equally spaced over the length of the strip on 5.000 in. (127.00 mm) centers, all facing the front. Power comes from an integral molded NEMA 5-20P straight blade plug on a heavy duty 12 gauge 12/3 SJT cord, 6 ft long, suited to extreme temperature ranges.

Overall assembly length is 1535.99 mm (60.472 in), with a nominal strip length of 60.00 in. (1524 mm) and a shipping weight of 7 lbs (3.18 kg). Operating temperature range is -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C. A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included; additional hardware kits are available under P/N 1585CLIP.

Per the manufacturer's notes, outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets because they and the equipment plugs interfere with mounted equipment and accessories; allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts. The 1589T60F1 is UL/cUL Listed to UL1363 and CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 (UL File E166039), RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America.
