Hammond 1589T60C1 60 in 10-Outlet 20A Vertical PDU, L5-20P

The 1589T60C1 is a 60 in (1524 mm) vertical basic PDU rated 20A at 120VAC single-phase, built for IT, AV and electrical teams powering equipment inside server cabinets, wall mount cabinets and open frame racks. It carries 10 heavy-duty black NEMA 5-20R receptacles (20A, 125VAC, single T-slot) spaced equally over the length of the strip, each opening 1 in square, all facing the front of the unit.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic ends, finished in Natural, so the strip stays rigid and light enough to mount along a cabinet strut. This is the pilot-light version of the series: instead of an on/off switch it uses a power indicator light, and a resettable 20 Amp circuit breaker protects the connected load. A 6 ft integral 12/3 SJT heavy-duty cord with molded NEMA L5-20P locking plug is included, and the assembly is rated for operation from -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C.

Overall assembly dimensions on the drawing are 60.472 in (1535.99 mm) long with a 1.616 in (41.05 mm) profile, and the unit ships at 7 lbs (3.18 kg). A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included; additional hardware kits are available as P/N 1585CLIP. Per the series notes, outlet strips cannot be used between the front and rear panel rails of rack cabinets because the strip and equipment plugs will interfere with mounted equipment and accessories, so allow sufficient depth behind the rear panel rails for vertical mounting to the struts. The strip can also be installed horizontally above a work bench.
